  • Building and Grounds

    The Building and Grounds Committee is charged with the oversight of the use, development and maintenance of the meetinghouse and grounds of the Santa Cruz Friends Meeting. Susan, Marcus, Alice, Alan, and Mimi (Calendar Clerk)

  • Children's

    The Children’s Committee organizes children’s programs during Meeting for Worship and retreats. It also focuses on building relationships between elementary-aged children and teens outside of Meeting for Worship. It is a sub-committee of Worship and Ministry. Noreen and Ellie

  • The Clerking Circle

    The Clerking Circle takes special care regarding the spiritual, organizational and procedural aspects of Meeting life and its connection to the wider world of Friends. Alice

  • Finance

    Along with the treasurer, the Finance Committee is responsible for the Monthly Meeting finances and for preparing an annual budget to be approved by the Monthly Meeting. Hans, Diego, Deborah and Alan (Treasurer)

  • Friends in Unity with Nature (FUN)

    The Friends in Unity with Nature Committee focuses on our Testimony of Stewardship and strives to be a reflective forum to strengthen and deepen our spiritual unity with nature. Leoma, Nancy GG and Emelyn

  • Hearth and Hospitality

    The Hearth and Hospitality Committee creates an inviting space where people can have some refreshments after the rise of Meeting for Worship and get to know one another better. Eva, Margo, Marilyn, Jerry, Noreen and Susan.

  • Library

    The Library Committee supports the spiritual life of the Meeting by supplying books on Quakerism and spiritual development which are not readily available from the public library. Mimi, Deborah, Hans and NancyW

  • Nominating

    The Nominating Committee is given the task of discerning how the gifts of members and attenders may best serve the Meeting. Noreen, Alice and Fred

  • Nurture and Counsel

    The Nurture and Counsel Committee assumes leadership in maintaining a caring community, helping all members and attenders to find their right role in nurturing one another. Maren, Leoma, Ellie, David Frbz

  • Worship and Ministry

    The Worship and Ministry Committee nurtures the spiritual health of the Meeting Community.  Gerri, Nancy W, Karen and Heidi
